Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Human Performance Optimization Program at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support pilot training and performance optimization initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing the physical and cognitive capabilities of US Air Force Airmen through data analytics. The candidate must have skills and experience in statistics and data analysis to interpret large, complex datasets and present findings clearly. This position is crucial for driving data-driven decisions that improve pilot readiness and operational effectiveness. Location: Langley AFB, Hampton, VA (Hybrid Remote - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Data Collection and Management: Collect and manage large datasets from physiological, cognitive, and operational performance metrics. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations affecting pilot performance. Use statistical methods and tools to generate insights and recommendations.

Reporting and Visualization: Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings. Present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor KPIs related to pilot training and readiness. Assess training program effectiveness via data analysis.

Collaboration and Support: Work with cross-functional teams to meet data needs. Provide training on data analysis tools and best practices.

Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning: Develop models to forecast performance and identify improvement areas. Apply advanced analytics to support decision-making.

Documentation and Compliance: Maintain documentation of processes and findings. Ensure compliance with data protection policies.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related; or recent Data Analytics certification. Experience as a Data Analyst with skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Excel, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong statistical analysis skills. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills. Experience with military or high-performance data is a plus.

Requires a National Background Investigation (NBIS) and ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Physical & Work Environment

Must maintain physical condition for prolonged sitting, standing, or walking. Work is performed in a gym or classroom setting, with occasional travel. The role is not safety-sensitive under DOT regulations. Additional Information

No supervisory responsibilities. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required. Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances.
