As the PM Snow Crew Supervisor at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of quality snow and also responsible for hiring/staffing, scheduling, and performance management/evaluations.
Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. What you will be doing:
Responsible for the day to day work responsibilities for the organization as needed
Supervise all PM Snow Makers
Assist in pre-season set-up and post-season tear-down
Assist in snow sports area maintenance, snow making, and lift operation
Exhibit the highest level of expertise in all areas
Perform other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
Must be 18 years old or older
Prior supervisor experience required
Work in fast-paced environment with some moving and lifting
Great customer service and communication skills required
Safety minded; Positive attitude and willingness to work with children required
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Able to tolerate extreme weather conditions
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required to work 2nd shift
