Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Security Operations Manager, based in the Memphis Metropolitan Area with the possibility of some work-from-home flexibility. We’re hiring a SOC Director to lead and scale our Security Operations Center. You will own day-to-day operations, analyst performance, client escalations, and continual improvement of our SOCaaS offering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop SOC teams (Tier 1–3 analysts, incident responders, threat hunters).
Oversee monitoring, alert triage, incident response, and escalation workflows.
Define and improve SOC KPIs (MTTD, MTTR, SLA performance).
Optimize our SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and automation tooling.
Serve as executive-level escalation point during major incidents.
Collaborate with Sales & Service Delivery to support onboarding and client retention.
Maintain SOC compliance alignment (NIST, SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA).
Qualifications
7–10 years in cybersecurity operations; 3–5 years leading SOC teams.
Deep experience with SIEM/SOAR/EDR platforms and incident response.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
Experience in a 24/7 SOC or MSSP/SOC-as-a-Service environment.
U.S. citizen; flexible for after-hours escalations.
Preferred: CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, cloud security experience.
