Inventory- Store Room Clerk
for a Maintenance position to contribute to our continued success. The Inventory- Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting efficient operations within our industrial facility.
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
Verify quantities and qualities received against purchase orders and packing slips.
Properly label and store items in designated locations within the storeroom.
Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
Process requisitions and distribute materials to production or maintenance departments as per requests.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
Create bin locations and labels for new inventory items.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies for handling hazardous materials or equipment.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and associated storage areas.
Requirements
1-2 yrs. of previous warehouse house experience required.
Must be able to work rotating shifts. (Days and nights and Every other weekend)
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required.
SAP experience preferred.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Must be able to stand for periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
Good communication, organizational, and time management skills are required.
Must be dependable and reliable.
