Summary Workday Adaptive Planning Analyst Position Highlights: The Workday Finance and Adaptive Planning Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Adaptive Planning platform to support enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. The Analyst also supports and optimizes financial management processes and reports within the Workday platform. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform meets evolving business needs and supports data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: Configure, and maintain Adaptive Planning models, including dimensions, versions, sheets, and assumptions. Collaborate with Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and business units to gather requirements and translate them into scalable planning solutions. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations within Adaptive Planning. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, including forecast updates and scenario modeling. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve transactional issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Partner with Workday Financials and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and alignment. Provide end-user training and documentation to promote self-service and adoption. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and release management activities. Support cross-functional initiatives involving Workday Financials, HCM, and UKG where planning data intersects. Design and maintain financial reporting and dashboards, troubleshoot transactional and system issues, and participate in the deployment of new functionality. Contribute to governance meetings and capacity planning discussions, providing insights into impacts of financial and planning system changes. Credentials and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree: field of study – Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field 3+ years of hands-on experience with

Workday Financials

(General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Asset Management), or Adaptive Planning or similar Enterprise Performance Management software tools (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Planning, Budgeting and Cloud Service (PBCS)). Prior experience with financial reporting and analysis, including building custom reports and dashboards. Experience with data modeling, formulas, and integration tools. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
