Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift
Matrix Plastic Products, LLC is a quality-driven custom manufacturer of injection-molded medical device components and assemblies.
We are looking for an experienced quality inspector to join our team on the 2nd shift (3:45 pm – 12:00 am).

Full‑Time (on‑site)
Pay:
$18.30 – $22.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift:
2nd Shift (3:45 pm – 12:00 am)
Responsibilities
Creating inspection layouts.
Performing incoming and in-process inspections.
Certifying production to customer specifications using equipment ranging from hand‑held instruments and gauges to multi‑sensor measuring systems (vision, touch‑probe, laser) and 3‑D scanning.
Requirements 3 years of plastics-related quality assurance experience is preferred.
Reading and understanding blueprints.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Familiarity with inspection gauges and techniques.
Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Spreadsheets and reports.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Familiarity with inspection report formats such as:
First Article Inspections (FAI)
Capability Study Reports (SPC)
Melt Flow Indexer Reports (resin, raw, or granulated)
Moisture Analysis
In‑Process Inspection Reports
Gauge R&R’s
Capability Studies
PPAP Reports (per AIAG)
IQ/OQ/PQ Process Validation Reports
Control Plans
pFMEA Reports
Process Flow Diagrams
