Schedule Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (1st shift)
Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for overseeing quality control to ensure assembled or packaged components/products meet predetermined specifications.
Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure all parts and orders comply with assembly instructions and quality guidelines.
Verify part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and paperwork match order requests.
Use manual and semi‑automatic fixtures for inspection.
Perform quality inspections of assembled or packaged components.
Maintain quality and efficiency standards.
Complete paperwork accurately and legibly.
Cross‑functional training required.
Follow instructions and procedures accurately and precisely.
Enter data.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, general business periodicals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic math concepts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Essential Job Functions
Mental:
Communicate effectively with others; analyze numbers; read and interpret written materials; comply with company policies; respond to feedback; maintain positive working relationships; troubleshoot and solve problems.
Physical:
Hear and verbally communicate; lift up to 25 lbs; sit, stand, and walk for hours; moderate noise level; handle and manipulate small components; see items 1/32″ or smaller; good eye‑hand coordination; perform repetitive tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
Equipment Used
Pneumatic gauges, pin gauges, digital calipers.
Computers, barcode scanners.
Special/Additional Requirements Background check for drug, alcohol, and/or criminal records may be required.
