Material Processor Lead – Inventory (1st Shift)
Overview: This position collaborates with Supervisors to train and develop the team, monitor production performance, enforce quality controls, and follow work instructions for the area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Working knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)
Participate in daily stand‑up meetings with the Supervisor
Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings
Work with the Supervisor to reallocate resources (people, supplies, products, etc.) as needed to meet customer goals
Collaborate with other departments to maintain proper workflow
Serve as point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues
Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues
Track and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes
Participate with the 6S Audit team on monthly 6S audits
Assist the supervisor in implementing any changes or adjustments on the production floor resulting from audits
Forklift certification required if needed for the area of responsibility
Perform on‑job (OJT) refresher training and workstation assessment
Monitor inventory levels (WIP aging) for the specific area of responsibility
Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor when needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills & Experience
Ability to collaborate with other departments within their area of responsibility
Forklift certification if needed for the area of responsibility
Effective communication skills at all employee levels
Proficiency and certification in the area they are responsible for leading
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $16.95 – $27.12 per hour

Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
