Summary The Henry J. N. Taub Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is looking for faculty of all levels who are interested in a career in academic emergency medicine. We are also hiring faculty of all ranks and seeking applicants who have demonstrated a strong interest and background in a variety of areas such as research, ultrasound, critical care, quality, health policy, medical education, or operations. Job Duties

Provide expert emergency medicine care across a unique trio of premier clinical sites: Ben Taub General Hospital (high‑volume, public Level 1 trauma center), Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center (high‑acuity quaternary care and transplant center), and Texas Children’s Hospital (nationally top‑ranked, comprehensive pediatric hospital).

Work among multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care, adhering to best practices, care directives, and participating in performance improvement.

Contribute meaningfully to department goals and support the overall success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited medical school.

Licenses/Certifications

Current Texas medical license.

Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.

Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.

Basic Cardiac Life Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Certification.
