Senior Oracle DBA

Senior Oracle DBA 100% Onsite in Houston, TX 6+ Months Video • 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, with at least 3+ years supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (12.1.x/12.2.x) • Strong expertise in managing and maintaining Oracle 2-node RAC environments on ASM is a must • RMAN Backup and Recovery skills, and experience with Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery (physical standby setups, switchover/failover operations) are a must • Experience with EBS R12.2 support (online patching (ADOP), applying CPU/PSU patches, cloning) • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c for monitoring and management of databases; Target metrics administration is required • Thorough knowledge on multitenant architecture; Container and Pluggable database administration and cloning • Familiarity with EBS application tier components (Concurrent Managers, Workflow, Forms/Reports, OACORE) • Solid understanding of Oracle networking, listener configuration, and troubleshooting; Exadata knowledge is a plus • bility to work in 24x7 production environments, including on-call support and weekend maintenance • Proficient in Oracle DB patching, Performance tuning and issue troubleshooting (HANG Analyzer, system state dump, SQL Tuning, AWR analysis, Trace file analysis, etc.) • Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting for automation and monitoring tasks; Ansible knowledge is a plus • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams • * Knowledge with on-prem Exadata is a plus
