Position Description: As a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer, you will help the technology team drive business growth and enhance customer experience by working directly with clients. You will provide architectural solutions across the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a Digital Marketing Platform using Adobe's suite of products. This position is located at a client site in Alexandria, VA; a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities
Design and implement AEM-based solutions supporting digital marketing strategies. Collaborate with teams to integrate AEM solutions with existing systems. Determine when to use out-of-the-box functionality or custom components. Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of AEM and Adobe Commerce solutions. Develop and customize AEM components, dialogs, widgets, templates, and workflows. Create reusable AEM components and build integrations with third-party systems. Design caching and security strategies (Dispatcher, firewall, CDN). Support multi-site and multi-language strategies. Integrate third-party services and Adobe products with AEM. Drive AEM authoring practices to ensure dynamic, user-centric content. Ensure operational stability and technical feasibility of AEM solutions. Provide guidance on AEM system engineering and support best practices. Stay updated on AEP and AEM features and updates. Share knowledge to elevate team expertise in AEP, AEM, and Commerce. Work with marketing to translate needs into technical solutions. Promote AEM adoption by demonstrating its business impact. Provide ongoing support to business and AEM engineering teams. Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack AEM Developer. Experience with end-to-end AEM implementations, preferably AEM as a Cloud Service. Experience architecting Adobe solutions. Knowledge of component structures, URL management, Asset and Tag management. Hands-on programming in Web Technologies (JSP, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, jQuery, APIs, Apache Sling, OSGi, Web Server). Adobe AEM, Commerce, Magento 2 Certifications or equivalent experience (highly preferred). Strong understanding of business processes and customer-centric UI/UX development. Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile/SCRUM. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
