to lead the delivery of complex network and security initiatives within a hybrid infrastructure environment for one of our clients. This role requires a strong background in cloud networking, next-gen firewalls, scripting, and secure infrastructure design. Top Qualifications: Networking (70%) & Security (30%)
not a pure security role Experience designing and implementing
Next-Gen Firewalls
(Fortinet preferred, Palo Alto accepted) Hands-on with
F5 Load Balancers Strong understanding of
TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN Cloud networking experience
with
Azure, AWS, or GCP
(Azure preferred) Scripting proficiency
in at least one: Python, Go, or PowerShell Exposure to
automation tools : GitHub, Ansible, REST APIs, JSON/YAML Experience with
VMWare, Nutanix, Acropolis Hypervisors
is a plus Role Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud and on-prem network infrastructure Lead security implementations including firewall/VPN configurations and compliance projects (e.g., PCI, SOX) Build automation for network operations and configuration management Act as Level 3 escalation and project lead on major networking initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and architecture teams Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite required; remote considered for exceptional candidates Strong culture fit is important team values collaboration and initiative Interview process: 1st round with engineering lead, 2nd round with network manager Nice to Have: Experience in
e-commerce or digital-first environments Familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure projects Prior project leadership in agile environments Seniority level
