This role involves driving digital transformation by providing technical leadership in designing, developing, testing, and implementing cloud solutions. The candidate will manage current systems, identify gaps, and enhance security and efficiency through emerging technologies. Responsibilities include: Designing and maintaining backup solutions for disaster recovery. Documenting and diagramming implementations to ensure adherence to best practices. Training support personnel. Setting strategic direction and standards for technical solutions. Recommending cloud-based solutions to improve security and reduce failures. Identifying points of failure and areas lacking resiliency. Participating in technology evaluation and process improvement teams. Leading projects from initiation to completion. Providing progress updates to management. Assisting with troubleshooting and maintaining awareness of new technologies. Creating lifecycle plans and automating cloud tools. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree. 5-10 years of experience as an on-prem engineer, network engineer, or cloud engineer in a DevOps team. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, operating systems, security, networking, backup, and disaster recovery. Experience with lift-and-shift migrations. Certifications in Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Networking. Understanding of Public, Private, and Hybrid cloud solutions. Experience with migration methodologies and tools. Strong communication and project management skills. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience with SSO, MFA, OTP, or 2SV.
