Primary Purpose and Essential Functions We seek a candidate with a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences, particularly in formulation, dosage form design, and manufacturing in drug development. The appointed individual will teach courses within the BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, MS, PhD in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences, and Pharm.D. curricula. Additional responsibilities include service on departmental, school, and university committees. A PhD in the relevant field is required, with 5+ years of industry experience preferred. Experience in industrial research formulation and development is highly desirable. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. PhD in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field. 5 years of industry experience. Expertise in formulation and characterization of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Over 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Research, scholarship, and academic experience. Ability to engage with and support culturally diverse student populations. Experience promoting social justice, equity, and inclusion in academia. Physical Requirements
Requires extended sitting and repetitive hand/wrist motions, occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be provided. Additional Details
