Job Summary:
The nuclear Medicine technologist provides healthcare services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. They possess advanced skills to perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, data processing, and technical tasks necessary for image production for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. They exercise professional judgment and maintain ethical standards while providing appropriate care essential for successful procedures. Compensation:
This position offers a base pay range of
$89,523.00/yr - $141,690.00/yr . Additionally, a
$10,000 hiring bonus
is available for eligible external hires meeting specific qualifications and conditions. Required Qualifications:
Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist training program. Certification as a National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire, or National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire. California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. At least 6 months of recent experience or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with no more than 1 year of absence from nuclear medicine. Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program). Skills and Certifications:
