This position also coordinates digital finalization and ongoing status changes for all kid reels. The Communications Coordinator reports to the Executive Director for marketing and to the Director of Operations for kid reel finalization. Schedule
: 20 hours/week; in office Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday Compensation
: $26,000-$28,000 DOQ PTO
: 30 hours RESPONSIBILITIES MESSAGING: Engage The Reel Hope Project’s audiences through a wide variety of platforms with language that is consistently honoring, joyful, consistent with our mission, and professional MARKETING: Implement strategies to reach more individuals across all platforms, inviting others to learn more about The Reel Hope Project’s core initiatives Grow The Reel Hope Project’s following on existing social media platforms Create all promotional and informational materials for the organization Coordinate and create graphic design for annual fundraising gala, organizational events, annual impact report, etc. SOCIAL MEDIA: Manage and maintain Communications Calendar ( monday.com ) in partnership with Executive Director and Development Manager; facilitate new content themes and intertwine social media content within broader marketing calendar Manage all posts (still image/video), graphic design and captions for social media accounts Manage social media inquiries and messaging Attend kid shoots and RHP events as assigned; capture BTS Spearhead growing our digital audience by 15% WEBSITE: Manage Waiting Kid webpages and Kid Carousel Manage team headshots KID REEL FINALIZATION + UPDATES: FINALIZATION Download reels from Google Drive/Upload to Vimeo Download images from Google Drive/Upload to project management board Cross reference youth’s participation forms w/project management boards to ensure full accuracy of posting permissions Upload finalized reels to TRHP’s website (if applicable) Pull Vimeo embed codes and post page links for partner platform sites; populate project management boards (if applicable) Add approved reels to project management board’s social media queue (if applicable) Add approved reels to Canva for events (if applicable) Communicate in project management system once ready for TRHP to deploy final communication out to social workers and partner platforms UPDATES Remove/re-add reels from TRHP website as needed Update Vimeo embed code permissions as needed; pull and record Vimeo metrics Remove/re-add reels from Canva as needed Remove/re-add reels from project management’s social media queue as needed Remove/re-add reels from TRHP’s social media accounts and pull/record metrics REQUIREMENTS What you bring: A minimum of two years of experience in a communications, marketing, or similar role Experience managing an annual marketing strategy and calendar Experience in elevating a social media account Consistently excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills High-level quality control and proofreading skills Creativity and passion to engage with others via child welfare and adoption-related messaging Highly organized ability to prioritize multiple projects while working in a fast-paced and growing environment An alignment with The Reel Hope Project’s Statement of Faith and Core Values What you know: Graphic design experience - required
(minimum requirement: Canva) Proficiency in Monday.com - preferred but not required Google Suite proficiency - preferred but not required Bonus Points: Lived experience and/or a personal connection to foster care and/or adoption Photography and photo editing experience SEO experience BENEFITS : 3% matching Simple IRA Interested?
