Position Overview:
The Enterprise Accessibility & User Experience team is passionate about solving problems and designing experiences that exceed users' expectations - accessible-by-default, on-brand, intuitive, and supporting cross-enterprise partners in achieving business needs. Talented and motivated UX Designer to help shape the user experience of our internal and external websites and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business partners, developers, UX researchers, accessibility specialists, and others at all levels of seniority across our company. Primary focus will be creating seamless and appealing user experiences, which you will mainly achieve through wireframes, prototypes, and component design; contribute to UX research efforts.
Pay Rate:
$53.00-$56.00/Hour
Responsibilities:
Design and develop user interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, technically feasible, and digitally accessible. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals. Work with UX researchers to incorporate user insights into the design process. Occasionally support and contribute to UX research activities. Ensure designs conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA. Include accessibility annotations in design handoffs, guiding developers to implement the product so that it can be used by everyone. Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards and UX Style Guide & UI Kit alignment. Contribute to and help manage UX Style Guide & UI Kit components.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role. Knowledge of UX research methodologies and the ability to collaborate with UX researchers. Intermediate to Advanced skills with Figma. Willingness to learn and apply digital accessibility standards. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the ability to explain design decisions and ask the right questions to support those decisions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international multidisciplinary team environment.
