Location:

Boston, MA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote weekly) Vertex is at the forefront of scientific innovation, successfully developing breakthrough medicines for Cystic Fibrosis, gene therapies for sickle cell disease, and more. Povetacicept is a dual BAFF/APRIL antagonist with potential in treating IgA nephropathy and other autoimmune kidney diseases. The Global Value & Access Strategy (GVAS) team supports the launch and lifecycle management of this product, ensuring access and reimbursement worldwide. The

will focus on launch readiness, global price & access strategy, and lifecycle planning. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, leadership in market access strategies, and ensuring payer perspectives are integrated into development and commercialization plans. This position reports to the Global Value & Access Strategy Lead, povetacicept. Key Responsibilities

Ensure launch readiness for new indications by developing value propositions, evidence plans, pricing, and market access strategies. Lead development of global payer plans, evidence prioritization, and value communications. Shape lifecycle management strategies, including indication sequencing and evidence generation. Integrate market access considerations into cross-functional strategies across commercial, regulatory, and clinical teams. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Qualifications

8+ years in biotech/pharma or payer experience, with deep knowledge of US and ex-US healthcare systems. Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills and experience in commercialization and drug development. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional teamwork skills. Education

BA/BS in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred. Pay Range

$201,200 - $301,800, plus bonus and equity. Salary based on experience and skills. Additional Information
