Sr. Director Distribution & Logistics North America

Overview THE ROLE: Herbalife is integrating the Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution function to create an efficient flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption. This newly created function will work in close collaboration with the VP Global Distribution & Logistics and other Worldwide Operations functions. The regional Distribution & Logistics heads are responsible for designing and executing regional Distribution & Logistics network strategies based on their respective region conditions and market nuances, ensuring alignment with global strategy. Additionally, they manage regional Transportation, Warehousing, and Distribution teams, as well as transportation and warehousing service providers, to deliver outstanding distribution services and support to our distributors and members while optimizing operations and controlling costs, contributing to regional revenue/margin targets and success metrics. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Lead all warehousing, fulfillment, sales centers, and pick-up point operations within North America, ensuring excellent service to Members. Manage all partners in Distribution and Logistics within North America in collaboration with the Indirect Sourcing team, leveraging global service providers for optimal benefits, and ensure timely invoice processing. Ensure quality and timely delivery of orders to Members, working closely with Supply Chain Planning to maximize product availability and communicate deviations. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturers, RM vendors, and other regions to optimize warehousing and shipping, supporting HIM KPIs for inventories. Strategic partner for NAM management on distribution network and access point optimization, proposing service and cost improvements. Develop and implement efficient Warehousing & Logistics systems and technologies aligned with Global guidance, including TMS, Warehouse Management, and Order Fulfillment Systems. Manage NAM Logistics & Distribution 3PL spend over $75 million, overseeing budgets and expenses. Implement global and regional policies ensuring compliance with health & safety, inventory control, SOX, QA, and trade regulations, including C-TPAT compliance. Create a positive work environment, develop and reward staff, and prepare succession plans. Represent Herbalife positively at various occasions and collaborate with other departments for non-product logistics and event support. Support New Product Development with logistics cost and mode analysis. WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: High shipping service levels are critical due to Herbalife’s business model and the US market size. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead 300+ direct and indirect reports and manage outsourced logistics and sales operations in NAM. QUALIFICATIONS: Skills : Inspiring leadership, excellent communication, growth mindset, analytical and innovative, organizational skills, customer and results orientation. Experience : 10-15 years in supply chain, 5-10 years in leadership, deep logistics industry experience across modes, international experience, familiarity with WMS/WCS/TMS systems.
