About MindWell MindWell Urgent Care is an integrated outpatient clinic combining urgent medical care with behavioral-health services. Our mission includes holistic health: physical, metabolic, and mental wellness. We seek to add a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist who can collaborate with our medical and behavioral-health team to provide nutrition care that supports overall health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments (history, labs, dietary patterns, lifestyle) Develop individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patients’ medical and behavioral-health needs (e.g. metabolic syndrome, weight management, diabetes, GI issues, diet-related concerns associated with mental health — mood, anxiety, ADHD, etc.) Provide one-on-one counseling and follow-up nutrition visits within the outpatient clinic Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists/behavioral-health providers in a multidisciplinary team setting Document nutrition visits thoroughly in EMR, ensuring compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements Potential to lead / co-lead group nutrition workshops, wellness classes, or lifestyle-change programs (e.g. weight-management, metabolic health, nutrition & mood, etc.) Stay current with evidence-based nutrition science and best practices; integrate into care plans Qualifications
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field Current licensure / eligibility to become licensed in Texas Experience in outpatient / clinical setting preferred (hospital, clinic, private practice, community health, etc.) Ability and comfort working with behavioral-health populations and a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, patient-education, motivational-interviewing skills Proficiency with EMR documentation Compensation & Benefits (Proposed)
Salary $60,000–$85,000/yr depending on experience Flexible scheduling: full-time or part-time; potential per-diem / PRN options Ability to see in person visits in Dallas, TX and Telemedicine throughout the state of Texas Potential bonus or incentive pay tied to performance, patient outcomes, or program growth Support for continuing education (CEUs) and professional development Opportunity to shape and co-create integrated nutrition & behavioral health services at MindWell Why Join MindWell
