Job Summary Pride Health is seeking a skilled
Certified Pharmacy Technician
to support outpatient pharmacy operations under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director and/or Pharmacist on duty. In this role, you will assist with medication preparation, dispensing, inventory management, and customer service—ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. Key Responsibilities Prepare, package, and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision. Process electronic and written prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations. Maintain inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates. Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy systems, software, and automated dispensing equipment. Provide excellent customer service during prescription pick-up and respond to routine inquiries. Ensure accuracy in patient data entry and prescription information. Support outpatient pharmacy workflow, including labeling, filing, and medication organization. Maintain a clean, safe, and regulatory-compliant pharmacy environment. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure timely medication delivery and optimal patient care. Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times.
Education & Certification Must be a
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
through PTCB or an equivalent certifying body. Must hold an
active Montana (MT) Pharmacy Technician License . Outpatient pharmacy experience required.
Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy workflow. Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health records. Excellent attention to detail and medication-handling accuracy. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
