We are seeking support to continue our leadership in providing resources for federal agencies and the Intel Community. Your Responsibilities Installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms, including creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, performing system backups, and maintaining system configuration files. Familiarity with UNIX or NT commands/utilities at the user level. Installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages. Developing and implementing enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration, and system health verification. Supporting enterprise services such as DNS, NFS, email, security mechanisms, and interoperability of UNIX and NT systems.
Minimum Requirements
TS/SCI clearance with appropriate poly. Onsite work required 100% of the time. Bachelors degree in computer science or related field with 10 years of experience, or 5 years of full-time relevant work with 10 years of experience supporting large client-server IT enterprises. Industry-recognized certifications may substitute for experience. IAT Level II Certification. Experience with HPC systems, server installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and administration, including tools like ReS, LSF, SLURM, and multi-vendor filesystems such as XFS, GPFS, Lustre.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-vendor servers, Red Hat or SuSe Linux, VMWare, and Lustre. Valid RHCSA or higher Red Hat certification. Valid VMWare certification.
