Provide direct services to students

which abide by established Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC) policy and procedures, including brief individual and group counseling for psychological, academic, and career concerns, phone screens and intake evaluations, crisis intervention, and urgent drop-in services. Provide clinical case management duties

for complex cases, including connecting with relevant resources, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining client charts. Respond to crises , including suicide assessment, intervention, and postvention cases. Administer and interpret assessments

(e.g., CCAPS, MBTI, SCII, LD/ADHD, MMPI) and prepare reports promptly. Provide clinical supervision, training, and education . Develop outreach activities , workshops, and programming. Provide consultations and training

to faculty, staff, and students as needed. Respond to campus requests

for presentations, talks, panels, fairs, and skills training. Participate in staff development and professional activities . Engage in center, division, and campus-wide activities , including leadership roles where appropriate. Work under guidance from the Director or designee . Collaborate with colleagues

as part of an integrated team, participating in meetings and committees. Work evenings, weekends, or holidays

periodically as needed. Perform other duties as assigned . *Denotes Essential Function Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field from an APA-accredited program, with 3 years of professional experience in mental health support, assessment, and intervention, or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of clinical or counseling psychology concepts, principles, and methodologies. Comprehensive understanding of laws and systems related to psychology practice as a Licensed Psychologist. Ability to analyze problems broadly, use reasoning, and apply creative solutions. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders. Proficiency in computer applications, electronic recordkeeping, and relevant software. For supervisory roles, ability to lead, manage priorities, and handle employee relations. Completion of an APPIC-accredited doctoral internship in health service psychology. Current licensure as a psychologist in at least one state. Ability to obtain and maintain a Hawai`i Psychologist license within six months. Experience in brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and group counseling. Experience working with young adults and adults on mental health concerns. Experience providing mental health consultation to colleagues, parents, and others. Strong outreach and prevention skills. Proficiency in administering and interpreting assessment tools and report writing. Commitment to working with diverse populations. Availability to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Desirable Qualifications

Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral internship in a university counseling center. Experience supervising graduate trainees. Coursework or skills in career counseling and inventory interpretation. Knowledge of Hawai`i-specific issues. Familiarity with local communities and student populations. Leadership in program development areas like multicultural programming, supervision, group therapy, outreach, assessment, or peer support. Strong outreach skills on various topics for the university community. Application Instructions
