The Floating Program Manager, as part of the multidisciplinary ACCS Integrated Team, manages daily operations of a group living or supported independent environment for adults with mental health challenges, in the absence of the regular program manager. The role involves direct intervention, modeling, supervision of Engagement Partner I’s, and contributing to the recovery-oriented mission by advocating for Persons and assisting in goal development for a meaningful life. Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises Assistant Program Manager, Engagement Partners, and possibly other staff, at the discretion of the ACCS Clinical Supervisor. Essential Functions
Lead program culture by demonstrating leadership and integrating evidence-based practices such as Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Seeking Safety, Trauma Recovery, and TREM. Use recovery-oriented language and principles in all interactions. Collaborate with Care Coordination and other providers to ensure access to medical, clinical, self-help, and peer services during crises and transitions. Participate in administrative responsibilities and on-call coverage as scheduled. Supervise staff including hiring, training, disciplinary actions, and evaluations. Manage staff scheduling and shift coverage. Oversee financial procedures including petty cash, client finances, and payroll. Supervise Medication Administration Program (MAP) and medication administration processes. Maintain accurate documentation such as logs, progress notes, and reports. Ensure compliance with agency and regulatory standards, including audits and licensing reviews. Maintain the physical site in accordance with all regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Minimum three years of direct care experience with adults facing mental health issues. Proven supervisory and management skills. Strong commitment to community living and supportive services for Persons with mental health challenges. Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills. Department of Public Health medication administration certification within 3 months of hire. CPR and First Aid certifications within 3 months of hire. Physical ability to monitor clients and assist with mobility as needed. Use of personal cell phone for work communication. Valid driver’s license. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
