Job Description:
Join the team working on next-generation ATE solutions and semiconductor devices, supporting customers in transforming their digital test requirements into reality. You'll work on cutting-edge technology alongside our customers, in close collaboration with R&D and marketing in a cross-functional, international environment. This position is ideal for a software or electrical engineer with a strong test engineering background, requiring in-depth knowledge of the V93000 system and strong software skills for writing test programs and tooling to meet customer needs. You should have the drive to work in a challenging environment where requirements change daily, and solutions must be developed and delivered quickly. You are a self-starter capable of working independently on complex requirements, leveraging your software skills and V93000 knowledge. You are approachable, a good communicator with deep technical knowledge, and regarded as a role model by your peers. Responsibilities include:
Develop ATE test programs (Java) for digital devices on the 93k platform. Support customers in debugging and resolving SmarTest software issues. Write scripts (Perl/Python) and tools to help customers improve their process quality and reduce time to market. Train customers on new software and hardware solutions from R&D and the Advantest Application Development Center. Collaborate with R&D and external teams to gather customer requirements for developing next-generation solutions. Communicate Advantest's strengths, solutions, and roadmap strategies to customers, addressing daily technical challenges. Prepare and execute pre-sales activities such as customer presentations, benchmark projects, requirements analysis, and competitive positioning. Support the rollout of new products at customer sites to bolster the 93k business.
