About Role Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Team Lead manages field sales teams to achieve sales targets and ensure a positive client experience within a defined geographical region. The role is field-based, requiring strategic planning and a passion for social impact, especially in transforming livelihoods of small-scale farmers.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and training of sales agents.
Source, identify, and recruit goal-oriented sales agents capable of selling SunCulture products.
Train and onboard sales agents to meet sales KPIs.
Manage, track, and report on lead generation and sales processes.
Coordinate after-sales customer service to strengthen brand presence.
Develop and establish sales KPIs with the Sales Manager.
Monitor and push for sales closures to meet targets.
Establish rapport with clients, partners, and the community to ensure full utilization and understanding of SunCulture products.
Ideal Candidate
Proven sales experience in the energy sector.
Track record of meeting sales quotas.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Passion for irrigation with industry knowledge.
Independent thinker with proactive decision-making skills.
Comfortable in dynamic environments and handling rejection.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
A diploma or degree is an advantage.
