Description Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Ops Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented engineering project leader to develop and deliver next-generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. The team will support retrofit designs for first mile retrofits and develop controls & solutions for future projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate design and innovation efforts for the fulfillment network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions quickly.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, influencing and negotiating with stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with senior executives, presenting technical solutions and business cases.
Travel up to 50% globally to interact with internal and external leaders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design, or related field.
3+ years experience in a design-related role.
Experience with automated material handling, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing systems.
Effective communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Additional 3+ years experience in design roles.
