About the Position
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations at our Calexico, CA facility, ensuring accurate receiving, efficient logistics, organized inventory management, and timely shipment of finished goods to customers. This role oversees the flow of products from inbound deliveries—both from external vendors and our own manufacturing site—through packing, staging, and outbound distribution. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, process‑driven, and committed to safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred, but not required).
5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience; 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, apparel, or consumer goods environments a plus.
Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory systems, and logistics best practices.
Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems (NetSuite), and basic reporting tools (Excel, dashboards).
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Highly analytical, data‑driven, and skilled at turning insights into actionable strategies.
Ability to work on‑site daily in Calexico, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Receiving
- Oversee receipt of raw materials, components, and finished goods coming from vendors and internal manufacturing.
- Verify accuracy of deliveries, ensure proper documentation, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal teams.
- Ensure items are promptly inspected, labeled, and stored in designated warehouse locations.
Warehouse Operations & Inventory
- Manage warehouse organization, including layout optimization, racking, staging areas, and safety zones.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels with regular cycle counts and adjustments.
- Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, material handling, packing, and shipping.
- Monitor equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) and coordinate maintenance needs.
Packing & Finished Goods Preparation
- Oversee packing processes to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately, securely, and efficiently.
- Coordinate workloads to meet daily and weekly shipping deadlines.
- Ensure all finished goods meet quality standards before shipment.
Shipping & Logistics
- Plan, schedule, and manage outbound shipments to customers across multiple regions and channels.
- Work closely with carriers, freight partners, and internal logistics teams to optimize shipping cost and transit performance.
- Ensure compliance with customer routing guides, labeling requirements, and delivery expectations.
- Lead, train, and develop a warehouse team including leads, associates, and forklift operators.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Monitor KPIs such as receiving accuracy, picking/packing accuracy, on‑time shipping, and operational throughput.
