About the Position

The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Issue and collect materials/ merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents.
• Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages.
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
• Examine stored materials.
• Report deterioration and damage.
• Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Make preventive maintenance adjustments to related equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain Material Heavy Equipment (MHE) license with 4K and 6K capacity.
• Minimum two years related experience, of which one year shall be using the type of equipment to be operated or specializing in required expertise.
• Be able to operate warehouse operating software system such as: DSS and MCPALMS.
• Must obtain or have and maintain NACI clearance.
• Must have and maintain valid U.S. License
• Obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
