Job Summary

Support the Director of Operations at the distribution center by directing warehouse activities and overseeing all aspects of daily production and order fulfillment.

Major Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining up-to-date warehouse inventory.
  • Lead and measure all daily processes to ensure order fulfillment and production are completed with excellence each day.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to resolve daily challenges and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for operations shipping 2,200‑10,000 lines per day or $136K‑$1.2M in revenue.
  • When applicable, serve as Certified Designated Representative (CDR) and manage all transactions to ensure compliance with the State of Florida Pharmacy Practice Act.

Human Capital Management

  • Support all HR processes at the local facility, including sourcing and staffing, performance management, compensation administration, and training & development.
  • Create a culture that promotes positive employee relations and protects confidential salary information.

Expense Management

  • Oversee daily and ongoing expenses to ensure financial capital is efficiently used.
  • Prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment replacement.
  • Schedule, track, and expedite freight across inter‑company and distributor contacts, resolving freight discrepancies with carriers.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor processes to ensure proper movement of product from trailers to racks to shipping.
  • Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems.

Sales Support

  • Provide timely responses to customer service failures and concerns.
  • Assist the Director of Operations in resolving customer complaints through the OSI process.

Safety & Hygiene

  • Monitor team activities to ensure safe practices are in place and demonstrated.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and guide the safety committee.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Certification: When applicable, certified as a CDR by the State of Florida.
  • Skills: Effective communication (verbal & written), active listening, multi‑cultural engagement, presentation skills, high sense of urgency, integrity, and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Salary Range

$87,360.00 – $131,040.00 Annual (bonus and/or incentive eligible). Actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
