Overnight Operations/ Security Agent

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304

Pay: $20/hr

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am (Fri & Sat OFF)

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest level of service is offered to residents, guests, and service providers.
• Greets, registers guests and residents, and assists in operations of the property.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
• Checks in with the Property Manager during tropical storms or hurricane watches/warnings.
• Maintains assigned areas in a neat and safe manner.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings.
• Supervises moves, deliveries and checks the status of unit owner construction.
• Assists Receiving Department with deliveries, moves, and construction work.
• Relieves receiving clerk and front‑desk staff as needed.
• Monitors valet personnel, ensuring compliance with Association’s guidelines.
• Checks First Alarm Panel at beginning/end of each shift and reports any troubles.
• Responds to mechanical, medical or police emergencies.
• Reports problems promptly, recording on the Incident Report.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Property Manager.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalency.
• FA CPR AED Certification desirable.
• Two (2) or three (3) years of experience in a similar position preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multiple language fluency desirable.
• Strong command of information system hardware/software.

Physical Requirements & Working Environment

• Lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Works upright, standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods.
• Reaches overhead and maintains wide mobility in upper and lower body.
• Works in varied environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
• Repeats various motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Navigates the property/building quickly and easily as required.
• Responds to emergencies promptly.
