Shift:11:00pm-7:30am

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, burnishing, stripping and waxing on hard surface floors and stairs.
• Vacuuming, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
• Secure the work area and post proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.
• Simple maintenance tasks including, but not limited to bulb changing.
• Maintain and clean the floor care equipment and ensure that appropriate chemicals are being used on proper area.
• This position will require you to stand, lift, and be physically active for the duration of your shift. Our Floor Cleaners must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and operate heavy machinery.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 ½ years' experience in floor care is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high-speed buffer, low speed scrubbers, extractor, burnisher, auto scrubber is strongly preferred.
