Base pay range: $22.00/hr – $24.26/hr

Become an Employee Owner with Atlantic Plywood! Earn more from your hard work! Atlantic Plywood is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will operate a forklift in our distribution center and pick orders using a voice‑picking system. They will also assist with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and other duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete daily logs into the inventory system
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality control standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Job Requirements

• Authorization to work in the US
• High school diploma / GED
• Ability to lift 50‑100 lbs; certified sit‑down forklift operator required
• Basic computer skills and not afraid of heights
• Good understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
• Good organizational and time‑management skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team
• Must have a pre‑employment physical, drug test, and background check upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
• Proven working experience with forklifts (previous certification is a plus)
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Knowledge of Lumber, Plywood, and Laminates
