Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient service. This role involves managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and fostering a welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification.
  • Ensure accurate health information management and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Supervise and train dental receptionists and administrative support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Oversee the scheduling of appointments to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity while maintaining a high standard of care.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in a dental office.
  • Proven experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical scheduling, health information management, and customer service principles.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in medical administrative support is advantageous.
