Overview

Job Purpose

Receives and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties. Typically operates a single or multiple position telephone system. Maintains a visitors’ log and issues badges when necessary. Notifies personnel of visitor arrival. Perform related clerical/admin work. May use company intranet, paging or other computer-based systems. Additional duties may include filing, sorting, mail distribution and completing special clerical/admin projects.

Nature of Duties / Responsibilities

Receives and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties. Performs plant timekeeping duties and submits hours to Corporate Payroll for processing.

  • Maintains a Visitors log and issues badges when necessary
  • Notifies Personnel of visitor arrival
  • May perform related clerical/administrative work
  • May use company intranet and other computer based systems
  • Coordinates and maintains conference room schedule
  • Performs various clerical functions for members of office staff as needed
  • Maintain company organization charts, employee directory and phone list
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Process week and biweekly payroll

Education & Experience

Experience with payroll administration is desired

Excellent Phone skills

Detail Oriented

Effective Oral, Written, and Communication skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel

1-2 years of office/lobby experience required.
