The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading Rialtic’s accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, execution of AP/AR, and establishing scalable processes as the company grows. This role serves as Rialtic’s accounting leader — overseeing compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness — and partnering with finance leadership to shape financial strategy and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Own Rialtic’s month-end and year-end close calendar, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement in close efficiency. Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls consistent with a high-growth SaaS environment. Own revenue recognition and contract accounting policies under ASC 606. Oversee the accounting, payable/receivable, payroll, and banking workstreams. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP or other applicable accounting standards. Reporting & Analysis Own the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting. Collaborate with FP&A on variance and trend analysis to support decision-making. Prepare and present ad hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts for/to management. Partner with finance leadership to develop budgets and monitor performance against them. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance and efficiency. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Assign work, review performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure proper training and adherence to internal policies and accounting standards. Compliance & Audit Lead annual audit and tax filings, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with external auditors. Ensure ongoing compliance with tax, regulatory, and state nexus requirements. Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes that support organizational growth. Systems & Process Improvement Partner with the Engineering and Operations teams to automate accounting workflows and implement ERP enhancements. Drive accounting system scalability in anticipation of company growth. Evaluate and optimize accounting workflows for efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades or automation initiatives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA required. Experience: 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or controller role. Experience in a SaaS or healthcare services environment is strongly preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. High attention to detail and integrity in financial stewardship. Preferred Attributes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment. Proactive leadership style — able to build structure, processes, and a high‑performing accounting team from the ground up. Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity. Experience in healthcare is a plus. Familiarity with audit, tax, and compliance processes for multi‑entity organizations. Revenue recognition experience is a plus.
