LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our clients to hire an Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting function, drive an efficient month‑end close, and elevate internal controls and reporting quality. You’ll coach a high‑performing team, collaborate with Operations and FP&A, and make process improvements that stick.

What you’ll do
Own the month-, quarter-, and year-end close: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and balance-sheet/P&L flux analysis
Manage and mentor a team of Accountants, setting goals, reviewing workpapers, and developing talent
Oversee GL integrity and account reconciliations (cash, intercompany, inventory/fixed assets, payroll, deferrals)
Prepare and review financial statements; lead audit support and deliver complete, well‑documented workpapers
Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies (SOX‑ready where applicable); document and standardize SOPs
Partner cross‑functionally on variance analysis, inventory/costing or revenue topics, and special projects (system upgrades, M&A)
Leverage/optimize the ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and close tools (e.g., BlackLine/FloQast); champion automation
What you’ll bring
6–10+ years progressive accounting experience with people leadership (direct management of accountants)
Strong command of US GAAP; comfortable rolling up sleeves while raising the bar on accuracy and timeliness
Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups; modeling preferred) and ERP experience (NetSuite/SAP/Dynamics or similar)
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA‑track preferred (or relevant Master’s)
Nice to have
ASC 606 revenue, ASC 842 leases, consolidation, multi‑entity/intercompany, inventory/cost accounting
BI/analytics (Power BI/Tableau), Alteryx, or experience implementing close accelerators
