Accounting Manager Job at The Bolton Group in Fort Worth

Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr We’re looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee financial controls across multiple manufacturing sites supporting a $400M+ business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys driving process improvements and ensuring strong financial integrity. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial controls across manufacturing sites and ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and corporate policies Partner with leadership to identify efficiency opportunities and strengthen internal controls Support accurate cost accounting and standard cost processes Lead improvements in financial control procedures Coordinate internal and external audit documentation Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and Tax Review high-risk journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate key updates Support system implementations and ensure proper internal control documentation Lead accounting integration for newly acquired sites, including process alignment, onboarding, and change management Drive synergies and process improvements across all integrated locations Qualifications: BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred) 10+ years of finance/accounting leadership in manufacturing Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and SOX Experience with system integrations Skilled in data analysis and process improvement Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Manufacturing Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Tuition assistance Location: Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex #J-18808-Ljbffr
