  • Complete and manage discovery forms to support the litigation process.
  • Finalize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and readiness for filing or delivery.
  • Research and assist in the implementation of software programs that enhance firm operations.
  • Track and update case status information using Excel and other tools to ensure clear case oversight.
  • Coordinate and manage staff meetings focused on case reviews and team alignment.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary in a civil‑litigation firm (Federal and California court experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice‑management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic legal environment.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to our mission and values.
  • Passion for justice, teamwork, and serving clients with empathy and excellence.

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Opportunities for growth and mentorship.
  • Health insurance and retirement plan contributions.
  • Workplace that values your well‑being as much as your performance.
  • Chance to be part of a firm that’s changing lives through advocacy.
