Base Pay Range

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively).
• Recommend items for sale to customers, including trade‑ups and companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; take inventory and keep records.
• Check in and price merchandise as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
• Implement asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with food item separation and proper product placement; perform stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out.
• Provide customer service for the photo area, including digital passport photo services and poster printing.
• Manage web pick‑up responsibilities, monitoring orders and delivering items to customers as they arrive.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep store condition and appearance clean and orderly.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training and complete performance‑based learning plans requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
