Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of technical solutions used by the MSWM business. The department manages large databases, messaging software, vendor products, financial exchanges, regulatory entities, and uses programming languages including .Net, JAVA, Cobol, MS SQL Server, and VB.Net. What Youll Do In The Role Implementation and design, development of components within Mutual Funds Middle Office and AI-related projects for Mutual Funds. Lead design and code reviews for applications and projects, sharing knowledge with the global team.
What Youll Bring To The Role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in analyzing database programs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working on UI, mid-tier services, and database development. Proven track record of delivering quality work on deadlines, coordinating with business, QA, UAT, Operations, and support teams. Experience integrating with vendor products and record keepers via REST web services or similar formats. Experience managing order processing across Wealth Management products like Mutual Funds and Retirements. Skills in performance tuning, code profiling, code review, and applying best patterns and practices. At least 2 years of application development experience using Core Java / Advanced Java, Spring/Hibernate/Struts/Junit, EJB, Web services, Angular, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, ExtJS, Jquery, GIT. Experience working with agile/kanban methodologies.
