Essential Functions

Support Program tasks and attend meetings.

Maintain Configuration Management Command Media, Work Instructions and perform updates as required.

Perform CDM metrics on a recurring basis and support Program prep meetings.

Engineering Release activities for the F‑35 Composite Structure Definition IPT, including Build‑To‑Package (BTP), Source Control Drawings (SCD), Tech Packages, and Engineering Schedule Change Record (ESCR) approvals.

Create the BTP, SCD, and Tech packages and execute associated lifecycle workflow, approval, and formal engineering release.

Ensure a fully linked integrated engineering Bill‑of‑Material (EBOMs) on all engineering releases, working in TeamCenter Enterprise and TeamCenter Unified (AeroSource) to maintain a valid, formally released EBOM.

Provide assistance and support to other F‑35 IPT teams requiring Configuration Management assistance.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail while controlling all documents in flow.

Collaborate and coordinate with Technical Leads in the preparation, processing, and release of engineering documentation through the release process.

Support audits, update procedures, and communicate effectively and clearly.

Thrive in a fast‑paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications to meet customer contract requirements.

Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

Coordinate modification records for management control.

Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Basic Qualifications

Configuration Analyst (Level 2): Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 0 years; or High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Principal Configuration Analyst (Level 3): Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or 9 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; or DoE equivalent.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time.

Prior experience in Configuration Management or equivalent.

Technical knowledge and practice in design, analysis, or on‑aircraft experience with Subsystems, Composites, or Metallic Structures.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Lean concepts.

Experience managing change boards or performing configuration status accounting.

Experience with Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test documentation.

Knowledge of EIA‑649 and the National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management.

Existing DoD security clearance Secret or above.

Government Contracts experience.

Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00
