Role Description The Bookkeeper & Procurement Specialist will provide administrative support to the CEO. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, accounts payable, improving procurement and tracking of supplies, inventory, and inbound shipments, facilitating import and freight forwarding, managing vendor & supplier relationships, minimizing procurement costs, documenting asset user manuals & service records, curating personnel training certifications & development plans, creating spreadsheets and reports, updating records and databases, preparing sales tax filings, maintaining business licenses, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in bookkeeping, procurement support, contract management, and other business/administrative roles,
Proficiency in or aptitude for working in box.com, QuickBooksOnline, AppSheets, Google Sheets, Wix, Amazon, Alibaba, EBay, and other business software platforms,
Detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, handle confidential information with discretion, meet deadlines, and represent the company well to external stakeholders,
Exceptional research and organization skills,
High tolerance for constructive conflict, critique,
Track record of taking initiative and adapting to changing work requirements,
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment,
Personal experience in cold plunge therapy is a plus,
The successful applicant will have outstanding problem identification & formulation skills and be a skilled participant in co-creative problem solving.
Compensation A well-qualified hire can expect an annual salary between $62,400 and $78,000 per year, depending on prior knowledge and training requirements. No health insurance or other benefits are offered except legal minimum paid time off.
Detailed Job Description The Bookkeeper will report directly to the CEO Thomas P Seager and coordinate with the Operations Engineer(s). They shall perform and/or delegate several duties as follows:
maintain records in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and other software platforms,
produce management reports related to productivity, cash flow, capital structure, and financial performance,
streamline and maintain all financial record-keeping functions,
document contracts, leases, and other financial agreements,
prepare instruction and policy manuals that document Morozko bookkeeping practices,
monitor accounts receivable and lease-to-buy programs,
produce records for CEO and external CPA to support filing federal and state tax returns, including R&D tax credit filings.
Purchasing
maintain vendor and contractor account relationships, records, payments, tax-exempt status, & manage supply chains,
elicit competitive bid proposals and recruit new vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies, including from foreign countries (e.g., China),
complete supply orders/purchases in accordance with Morozko practices and policies,
create purchase orders and maintain purchasing records,
track inbound freight, freight forwarding, receipt of goods, and payment of duties/taxes,
prepare instruction and policy manuals that document Morozko purchasing practices,
prepare and file sales tax reports throughout the United States,
file TPT license renewals and AZ-5000 TPT exempt documentation,
ensure payment of sales taxes.
Business Development
maintain business licenses and records with AZCC and other jurisdictions,
maintain business listings and registrations.
