Director, Direct-To-Consumers (DTC) Logistics Pay Range: USD $170,000 – $210,000 per year

Pay range is indicative of projected hiring range; base pay will be determined based on candidate's work location, skills, and experience.

The Opportunity Join Mattel's Global Logistics team as we expand our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) capabilities to support a rapidly growing $1B business. This high-impact role is a key leader within the DTC Logistics organization, working across iconic brands such as Mattel Creations, American Girl, and our global DTC channels. Reporting to the VP of NA Logistics, the Director of DTC Global Logistics will shape and execute the global logistics strategy, drive innovation in fulfillment and technology, and lead cross‑functional initiatives to optimize operations and enhance the consumer experience. This is a strategic, matrixed role with significant enterprise visibility and influence, ideal for a forward‑thinking logistics leader passionate about transforming the future of e‑commerce fulfillment.

What Your Impact Will Be Key Responsibilities

DTC Logistics fulfillment cost improvement through new technology implementation, operational and fulfillment capabilities, and efficiency improvements.

Collaborate cross‑functionally including DTC – Commercial, Marketing, Finance, IT, Consumer Care, Planning, Product Development, Procurement, Compliance, DTC DC Operations & Transportation.

Manage DTC technology implementations and DTC Logistics capital spend enabling future growth to $1B Direct‑to‑Consumer business.

Lead the integration of AG into the Mattel Logistics network, impacting $300M in sales.

Responsible for implementing DTC Logistics network footprint strategy i.e., current network redesign change management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Manager for all global DTC Logistics initiatives.

Represent Logistics function on the DTC leadership team.

Develop strategic planning for supply chain & logistics capability enhancement.

Manage DTC Logistics KPIs and targets.

Partner with Global Supply Chain and Global Technology Organization to develop technology‑driven fulfillment strategy.

Build the US DTC physical logistics network for competitive advantage.

Partner with IT, Procurement, and service providers for fulfillment data and systems integration.

Develop consumer feedback processes and collaborate with Consumer Care.

Execute and influence DTC returns policy.

Lead DTC capabilities to define, influence and deliver service level targets for competitive advantage.

Create and communicate logistics and GSC performance scorecards for each DTC channel.

Scan the industry for DTC innovation and fulfillment best practices.

Lead DTC Logistics process improvement initiatives to improve service levels and reduce costs.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience supporting an online DTC (direct‑to‑consumer) business in a commercially focused operations management & fulfillment role with a brand, retailer or logistics company (e.g., FedEx, UPS, XPO, etc.).

Master's degree preferred in operations, supply chain, business, marketing, or another related field.

Strong ownership mindset, cross‑functional collaboration skills and a drive to deliver results.

Strong knowledge of digital technology landscape and tools.

Strong analysis, planning & financial acumen.

Passion for the constant evolution of e‑commerce and how consumers are finding new ways to engage with brands.

Highly enthusiastic and hands‑on business approach.

Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.

DTC IT O‑I (order to invoice) systems experience preferred.

Experience leveraging/managing 3PL providers preferred.

Demonstrated growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
