Store Manager – Atlanta

Hill House is seeking a pro‑active Store Manager to lead the retail team at our upcoming Atlanta store and become a pivotal part of our Hill House family. In this role, you’ll serve as a brand ambassador, coach and mentor a passionate team of associates, and drive the store’s sales performance while ensuring operational excellence. What You’ll Do

Drive Excellence in Sales & Service

Lead by example on the sales floor, engaging with clients and ensuring the highest level of service and client experience goals are met. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to identify trends, set action plans, and communicate strategies that align with sales and profitability goals. Work cross‑functionally with marketing, eCommerce, creative, and operations partners to address business goals and needs.

Client Development

Foster a client‑centric environment and implement CRM initiatives to retain and develop high‑potential clients. Lead and collaborate with the team on strategic client retention and acquisition goals; ensure associates deliver on client capture and rapport building. Capture meaningful client data to personalize future development opportunities.

Operational Leadership

Ensure smooth running of store operations, adhering to policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards that meet brand expectations. Manage inventory effectively, aligning stock levels with sales goals and new product launches. Oversee financial aspects—budgeting, expense control, reporting, scheduling, and payroll—to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with all company policies, including cash handling, register procedures, brand, styling, and language.

Talent Management & Development

Attract and retain a high‑performing team by building a talent pipeline through coaching and development plans. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and foster a culture of continuous learning. Handle employee relations issues in partnership with HQ to create a harmonious work environment.

Who You Are

A minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in the retail industry, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Experience performing in a fast‑paced environment with fastidious attention to detail. A leader with proven ability to drive sales, deliver exceptional client experiences, and motivate high‑performing teams. Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions. Self‑motivated with exceptional communication and a motivational attitude; passionate about people development and growth. Excellent collaboration and delegation skills, and good decision‑making abilities under pressure. High degree of flexibility and initiative—strong organization to plan and execute short‑ and long‑term projects aligned with global strategy. Embraces a culture of learning and advocacy. Maintains a positive attitude and represents the Hill House Home brand. Has lived experiences with people from diverse backgrounds and teams. Flexible to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
