As a Team Leader, Operations, you will master organization and efficiency behind the scenes of our stockroom. You’ll play a key role in creating striking merchandise design, support the Assistant Store Leader for Operations and Visual, lead, plan, perform, and supervise the merchandising/stock team, and ensure products on the sales floor are well‑stocked and ready for customers. Your leadership extends to the stockroom, where you keep operations running smoothly. You’ll mentor Merchandising/Stock Associates, communicate design vision, provide feedback, and collaborate with the sales team to uphold visual and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead designated functional team and manage associate workload in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
Coach associates on exceptional performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department/work area.
Partner with the Assistant Store Leader to train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, policies, and procedures.
Maintain an understanding of new store initiatives and communicate changes to Department Specialists and associates, ensuring adoption across the store.
Promote and drive sales, staying aware of current product in-store and out‑of‑store.
Review KPI results, working with Assistant Store Leaders to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
Communicate regularly with the applicable functional Assistant Store Leader to review business results, execution of plans/strategies, customer feedback, and associate performance.
Ensure all customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service by setting expectations and modeling behaviors.
What you’ll bring to the table
Your sense of personal style with a discerning eye and passion for design and home furnishings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
1+ years of customer service or retail experience.
Full‑time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Part‑time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night shift.
Compensation Minimum Starting Rate:
$18.40 per hour
Up to:
$23.00 per hour
Pay will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. Additional compensation may include bonuses, sales incentives, and long‑term incentives based on role performance.
