About The Role The Enterprise Architect position ensures effective architectural and structural design for LexisNexis Legal Global Business Systems, focusing on ERP and Customer Engagement capabilities. Additional responsibilities include monitoring development/maintenance projects, evaluating new technologies, and adhering to compliance and security standards.
Responsibilities
Design Future State: Lead the definition and design of the future-state integration architecture, focusing on convergence and automation of the Order-to-Cash value chain (CRM, ERP, eCommerce).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams across multiple capabilities/domains to translate business capabilities into technical requirements and long-term architectural roadmaps.
Advisory Role: Act as a key advisor to technology leadership on strategic direction, investment prioritization, and technology roadmaps.
Serve as a techno-functional expert across modules like Financials, Procurement, Projects, HCM, and PPM. Design custom reports, Fast Formulas, and accounting flows (e.g., SLA to GL). Monitor Oracle product roadmaps and quarterly updates to identify valuable new features.
Governance & Optimization: Drive standardization and minimize customizations. Lead architecture governance processes and ensure system integrity. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development and support teams.
Validate placement of function for new feature requests and enhancements.
Ensure end-to-end efficiency of new features across the Business Systems landscape (CRM, ERP, eCommerce, Customer Care).
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8–10+ years of experience with Oracle ERP applications, including Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or PeopleSoft.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture, APIs, PL/SQL, REST, SOAP, OIC, and VBCS.
Experience with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Oracle certifications (e.g., OCP, OCM) in relevant Fusion or PeopleSoft modules.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and security.
Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
Exposure to strategic planning and enterprise portfolio management.
