Liquid AI
Work With Us At Liquid, we’re not just building AI models—we’re redefining the architecture of intelligence itself. Spun out of MIT, our mission is to build efficient AI systems at every scale. Our Liquid Foundation Models (LFMs) operate where others can’t: on-device, at the edge, under real-time constraints. We’re not iterating on old ideas—we’re architecting what comes next.
While San Francisco and Boston are preferred, we are open to other locations in United States.
This Role Is For You If
You can take a baseline model and turn it into impactful product
You’re as comfortable writing code as you are doing user research
You think like a product builder—who’s the user, what do they need, and how do we serve them?
You thrive in early-stage ambiguity, identifying where AI capability meets market demand
You’re driven to ship quickly, learn fast, and iterate toward traction
Desired Experience
Proven experience building and shipping AI-powered applications or APIs
Full-stack capability—can prototype and deploy independently
Strong grasp of how to integrate novel models into production systems
Understanding of developer or enterprise user workflows
Experience conducting lightweight market validation or customer discovery
Bonus: proficiency in Canva, Figma, matplotlib, or similar tools for creating visual assets.
What You’ll Actually Do
Build end-to-end AI products and APIs powered by Liquid’s models and platform
Identify high-impact use cases where smaller, faster models outperform heavier alternatives
Research specific markets (e.g. developer tools, agent frameworks, automation APIs) and design tailored solutions
Collaborate with Product ML and core teams to bundle, deploy, and position model-based products
Turn insights from users into scalable product directions
Prototype, test, and launch offerings that demonstrate the power of Liquid’s tech in real-world contexts
What You’ll Gain
The ability to ship AI products from concept to market with direct impact
A high-trust environment where experimentation is encouraged
Deep collaboration with ML researchers, engineers, and product strategists
The chance to help define how efficient AI systems reach real users and businesses

Our mission is to build capable and efficient general-purpose AI systems at every scale—from phones and vehicles to enterprise servers and embedded chips. Our models are designed to run where others stall: on CPUs, with low latency, minimal memory, and maximum reliability. We’re already partnering with global enterprises across consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. And we’re just getting started.
