Job Summary

Purchasing components from suppliers to support assigned project timelines, ensuring all purchases align with current company policies and procedures.

Identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure the timely and cost‑effective procurement of high‑quality components and materials

Ensuring that Resolution Medical is well positioned with the right suppliers to support a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment

Essential Functions

Acquire materials and components for assigned manufacturing and/or NPI development projects utilizing electronic or manual ERP processes

Create purchase orders, follow up with suppliers with any issues regarding price, lead time, quantities, etc.

Responsible for creating Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages with suppliers.

Analyze cost structures and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize value and mitigate risk.

Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align sourcing strategies with customer and/or business objectives.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support product development, cost reduction, and supply continuity.

Work with Supplier Quality to create and implement a commodities matrix to be utilized for sourcing and choosing suppliers.

Identify and manage suppliers for direct and indirect materials, ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintain and promote sound relationships with an extensive network of suppliers

Work with Quality on missing supplier documentation, supplier related nonconformances and SCAR’s

Support monitoring of supplier performance and proactively address potential supply chain disruptions.

Maintain accurate sourcing documentation, support supplier audits when required and ensure adherence to internal SOPs and external regulations.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and supplier performance.

Creates and maintains mutually beneficial long‑term partnerships with internal customers and suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement

Supports all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems QMS)

Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, or regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers

Ensures all functions engaging Resolution’s supplier base are following established ethical guidelines

Requirements Education, Experience, Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Operations strongly desired. Equivalent combination of relevant experience and education will be considered.

3+ years previous experience working in supply chain, sourcing or engineering with experience evaluating and selecting suppliers.

Medical device industry experience required and and/or manufacturing background strongly preferred

Strong detail orientation and organization skills.

Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements.

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Able to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner

Ability to problem‑solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer

Able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

Benefits and incentive compensation may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.

Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role is between $52,000-70,000/year. Compensation may vary based on individual job‑related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

401(k) Plan: Company‑provided Safe Harbor Contribution of 3% of eligible earnings.
