Machine Learning Computational Advancements for peRsonalized mEdicine) HORIZON-MSCA-2024-DN-01 - 101226456 The European Doctoral Network “Machine Learning Computational Advancements for peRsonalized mEdicine” (MLCARE), funded under the Horizon Europe MSCA call, will start on January 2026 (with DCs starting between June and September 2026). There are 14 positions for PhD candidates to develop their PhD in the institutions funded by the project. The MLCARE project seeks to advance personalized medicine by developing cutting-edge AI solutions that integrate genomic, clinical, and environmental data into holistic, multimodal patient representations. The program will equip doctoral candidates with the technical, analytical, and ethical skills needed to lead the future of patient-centered, AI-driven medicine. DC1: Hierarchical latent variable models for omics data integration and precision therapy. Host and PhD enrollment: Universidad Carlos III Madrid (ES). DC3: Clinical foundation models. Host: Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science (DE). PhD enrollment:Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (DE). DC4: Data-integrative individual specific networks (ISNs) to identify dynamic network biomarkers. Host and PhD enrolment: Universite de Liege (BE). DC5: Explainability & Robustness in Foundation Models. Host and PhD enrolment:Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (DE). DC6: Neuropsychiatric Disorders’ Development Prediction using Multimodal and Explainable AI Models. Host and PhD enrolment:Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (DE). DC7: Sex-stratified investigation of the interplay between asthma and neuropsychiatric disorders. Host and PhD enrolment: Université Paris Cité (FR).
